Jenny Derham. Specialist Bike Coach
Jenny started originally as a track & cross country runner competing for both school and Surrey County.
Progressed into road running for Stragglers Running Club and then to Triathlon in the late eighties early nineties.
Competed for GB in both Triathlon World champs in 1990 and Duathlon European champs in 1992 (finishing 9th overall and claiming Bronze for the team prize).
Cycling was Jenny's best discipline. She started time trialling and in 1996 won the Best British All Rounder (BBAR) consisting of a combination of
25, 50 and 100 mile Time Trialling.
During this year Jenny achieved a British record at 50 miles in 1:49:31 and broke Beryl Burton's 20 year old 100 mile record completing it in 3:53:04s.
Following these results Jenny was selected to represent GB in the Cycling World Championships in the Time Trial and Road Race in Lugano, Switzerland.
