Comets At Kempton Duathlon

The 2016 London Junior Series is up and running with the 1st of the 10 events being the Thames Turbo Duathlon at Kempton Park last Sunday.

All those who were there will agree that it was an excellent event that was meticulously planned and delivered to perfection by Hugo and his large team. We had some notable performances and results. A 1st, 2nd, three 3rd's two 4th's and everybody else from Comets raced well.

Conditions were mighty tough with strong head wind in the home straight, and so huge credit to everyone who raced so well and for supporting each other.

It was great to see so many familiar faces from last year competing, but also notable were a significant number of newcomers, with many of these putting in impressive performances. We’re in for a very engaging Series. I think with the margins between the contenders likely to remain very close right through until the season concludes in July.

These standing will be adjusted accordingly if there amendments to the official results.
