Trinity Tri from my sick bed!

Greetings Comets! Notable for my absence at Trinity Tri today I was there in spirit. Struck down by neck problem, couldn't even contemplate driving so bitterly dissapointed I followed all the Comets on DBmax race results:

www.dbmax.co.uk/results/results-2015.html

All Comet athletes times, positions and splits can be seen here, just follow the link. We, Comets had a grand total of nine athletes, Kicking off with Tristar 1: Ben Bisson, Maisie Jensen,George Turner & Kyle Ruth.Tristar 2:Mack Downey, Poppy Jensen, Calum Ruth and a very warm welcome to Spencer Bateman now racing under the Comet Banner. In Tristar 3 is our Bill Downey.

It's tough at the top but in a decent quality field all the Comets did well We didn't have anyone in Tristart but in Tristar 1 Ben Bisson was 9th boy and 14th overall out of 100 competitors, top 14% overall Maisie Jensen was 7th girl and 19th overall top 18% George Turner was 20th boy and 27th overall top 22% Kyle Ruth was 27th boy and 35th overall top 35%

In Tristar 2 Mack Downey was 3rd boy and 4th overall out of 127 athletes and the highest placed Comet with a top 3%. Mack was only 8 seconds behind the winning time. Poppy Jensen was 7th girl and 13th overall a top 11% and less than a minute behind the winner. Calum Ruth & Spencer Batemam racing under the Comet banner, finished in 45th & 46th places respectively. These two new sparring partners and friendly rivals battled it out and only .5 of a second divided them! Incredible!  Alone, not last or least was Bill Downey our only representative in Tristar 3. Bill was 19th boy and 21st overall and top 20%I work on percentages so for example if someone was 20th out of 100 their in the top 20%. To my mind having 80% and 80 athletes of the field behind, even if ones dissapointed with ones own race is a good result. This was a London Region race so will count towards the standings at the end of the season so things are hotting up for places!
